Most people think being righteous means trying harder to do the right thing.
But Jesus points to a different kind of righteousness altogether.
Looking at a pivotal moment in the Sermon on the Mount, we discover that God's desire is not simply to change our behaviour, but to transform our hearts. The kind of righteousness Jesus describes goes beyond appearances and reaches the root of who we are.
This message lays the foundation for everything that follows and invites us to consider: Are we focused on looking righteous, or becoming righteous?
