Right Living - Part 4: Anger & Reconciliation
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This week we continue through the Sermon on the Mount as Jesus takes the conversation about “right living” somewhere deeper than most of us expect.
Most people agree murder is wrong.
But Jesus goes beneath the surface—and begins talking about anger, resentment, hostility, and fractured relationships.
Why?
Because the issue was never just external behaviour.
It was always the heart.
In this teaching, we explore what Jesus means when He says, “You have heard it said… but I tell you,” and how true righteousness is not about managing appearances or checking boxes, but allowing God to transform us from the inside out.
What do we do with unresolved anger?
Why does reconciliation matter so much to Jesus?
And what does it look like to step into the kind of life God actually wants for us?
This message is both deeply challenging and deeply hopeful—calling us not just to avoid wrongdoing, but to become people shaped by mercy, reconciliation, and the life of God.
